Incorporating a letter spacing of negative three further contributes to enhancing word recognition by reducing the visual gap between letters. This achieves a more visually dense layout and creates for a more cohesive experience.
Alternative OpenType ligatures were used in the 'Inter' font to give it a playful and legible feel, departing from the typical characteristics of traditional sans-serif typefaces.
The program's desktop user interface employs a typeface that highlights OpenType ligatures alongside traditional ligatures, enhancing overall legibility.
